How To Plan Your Camper Van Electrical System (For Beginners!)

Planning out the electrical system for a converted van is a daunting task. In this video, we show you exactly how to plan out your electrical system to make sure all of your needs for van life are met.

To keep our van simple and save some money, we created our electrical system based around the Jackery Explorer 500. This is a rechargeable power pack that has 518 watt-hours of capacity, a 500-watt pure sine wave inverter, and DC, USB, and AC outlets. We use the Jackery to power our ICECO fridge, our MaxxAir fan, our blender, and to charge our phones and camera batteries.

Let us know if you have any questions about our electrical system in the comments!
