TESLA NEWS: Supercharger fee, price increase, solar roof

Let’s get started! Big news today as Tesla announced the end of unlimited free use of superchargers. Current owners will not be affected. But starting next year new owners will only enjoy about 1,000 of free miles per year after which they will have to pay a small fee.

Speaking of the new fees, according to Electrik.co, their sources tell them that Tesla is planning on increasing the price of the Model S again by about $2,000 relatively soon bridging the base price up to $68,000

New feature update for the Model X: Tesla will now be offering the folding second row seat option to future buyers.

In Model 3 news, Elon Musk announced that Tesla will incorporate the same glass technology being used in the solar roof to make the roof of the future Model 3 cars.

Tesla stock closed at $190.56 on Friday, down almost 5% for the week.
